Xxxx studebaker six convertible sedan. The studebaker six was studebaker's entry-level model in xxxx, and, as its name implies, featured a six cylinder engine. This car has an older restoration which included several tweaks and upgrades for driving ease and comfort. As mentioned earlier, the car has an older restoration and shows some wear. Paint has thin spots and some road rash but is overall in good shape. Brightwork is also in good shape overall. Headlight buckets and bumpers are in excellent, but the windshield frame is losing chrome. Radiator shell is also in very good condition, but losing paint on its face. Driving light turns with front wheels. As for the wheels are off of a mid-xxxxs chrysler with studebaker hubcaps. Top has some bug and dirt staining, but is shows little trauma. The interior is in good condition overall. Seats show some minor tears and holes, but are otherwise very solid. The car runs, drives and stops. Engine is the original studebaker inline six. Spares are original studebaker wheels and tires. Suspension has been upgraded with tubular shocks. Brakes are the original mechanically actuated units. Frame and body appear solid.

1960 studebaker lark - chicago, ilevolve motors - evolve motorschicago, il 60618ph: 7732672684web: www. Fast forward to 1926, studebaker was the first automobile manufacturer in the united states to open a controlled outdoor proving ground on which, in 1937, 5,000 pine trees were planted that spelled "studebaker" when viewed from the air. In the 1960s, studebaker began to diversify away from automobiles. Many companies were purchased, bringing studebaker into different fields like the manufacture of tire studs and missile components. 55 years later this one still stands tall, although some damage has been noted on the bottom of the right quarter panel. With almost all of the original trim still intact, and present with the car. The grill and two chrome bumpers are straight, and show almost no pitting at all, and still shine as brilliant as ever. The headlights are in fine working condition, and as transparent as ever. The windshield has minimal rock chips if any at all, but the windshield wipers aren't operational at the moment. And the passenger sliding windows still swing right open. While the paint is worn, and around the chrome roof trim it does show some surface rust, we believe it to be an all original finish inside and out. All emblems are present! The leather interior and headliner, are in near perfect condition, a vibrant crimson color, the stitching on the black leather dashboard is still in wonderful condition. The carpet will most likely have to be replaced at one point. The stereo is an aftermarket cassette player, with speakers mounted in the cab's trim panels. The a/c unit is an external mark iiii unit, which should be operational, but disconnected at the moment. Sporting a 259 cu in (4. 2 l) v8, it starts right up, and drives like a beauty. The frame is solid, showing only minor surface rust. It has some usual leakage as well. The two-door studebaker lark viii's were only manufactured for two years, 1959 and 1960. Already making them a rarity, in 1959, 26,709 units were manufactured, with this being a 1960 lark viii, only 5,231 units were manufactured! Air Conditioning

1950 studebaker champion - chicago, ilevolve motors - evolve motorschicago, il 60618ph: 7732672684web: www. Evolve-motors. Comoptions:description:1950 studebaker champion regal deluxe convertible rare!! Chicago garage find! 169 (2. 8l) straight 6 3-on-the-tree manual w/ rare overdrive! Very original driver!! 2 owners!! Evolve motors is pleased to present this american classic, the 1950 studebaker champion! The 1950 studebaker champion. A timeless piece of american automotive history. The champion and commander were actually the first new cars built after world war ii in 1947. It was one of the most popular selling cars throughout the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, and for good reason. It’s sleek styling and big, comfy interior made it a perfect candidate for everyone from single 30-something’s, all the way up to the family of 4! Just say the word “studebaker” and the image that usually comes to mind is the 1950-1951 models, aka the “bullet nose” or “airplane” studey. One of the most often heard cliches - “they were so ahead of their time” - is truly exemplified by the bullet nose. Designed by industrial designer robert loewy, and built in nearby south bend, indiana, these “3 box” or “envelope” body stylings were some of the first full-width cars in the industry, creating a trend for the likes of ford and chevy to compete with. We have one here at evolve, and it is a fantastic example! We received a phone call from a local gentleman here in chicago asking us to come take a look at an “old car” he had for quite some time and was ready to get rid of. Without knowing too many details we headed on over. When we opened up the garage what we found buried beneath 20 and 30 year old boxes of old toys and bicycles, laid one of the most original survivor studebaker’s we’ve ever seen. It wasn’t long until we had it pulled out into the alley and were dusting it off like we’d just found an old family photo album in the attic. Sure, it’s had a repaint at some point long, long ago, but beyond that this car has the original interior, original top, original motor, trans, and even the original tag on the differential cover out back! Running on the original 6 volt system, this comfortable cruiser was catching attention at every turn, with people rolling down windows to ask questions, to folks at the gas station pulling out their phones to take pictures. What a conversation piece! As we mentioned this was a “barn find” (garage find for us chicago natives), and shows some of it’s age throughout. The good news is that it’s definitely more “good” than “bad”, and any of the “bad” isn’t really that “bad”, which is also good. I do recommend scrolling through the pictures towards the bottom of this listing, as we pull no punches with the camera. So let’s take a walk around this 56 year old dreamboat. Sure it’s got some light surface rust from sitting in a garage, but we were able to remedy a fair amount with a thorough detail. The body panels seem to be all original, and line up nice and straight. We do note that there are some chips in the paint, and some scrapes and scuffs throughout, giving it th.
