This jeephas 77,494 original miles, and the engine was professionally rebuilt 500 milesago. The 4 speed manual transmission and transfer case were also disassembled and inspected (both were in great condition), andreassembled with new seals. Jeep runs great, i just did the first oil changesince the rebuild. Also, all new clutch installed. This was a nm jeep when ipurchased it. I have done the following: engine- professionally rebuilt, andcarefully broken in. Transmission- inspected, disassembled and new sealsinstalled transfer case- inspected, disassembled and new seals installed clutch-all new radiator- re-cored and rebuilt by radiator shop all new single-exitexhaust system with glass pack muffler, installed one year ago other new parts:ignition coil alternator water pump thermostat weber carburetor rebuilt heatercore center console new shift boot new plastic glove box frame- while i had theengine out, i disassembled and stripped the front part of the frame (fromfirewall to front bumper) and coated with two different types of rustpreventative from por-15. That part of the frame is very clean looking and willrepel rust for decades to come. Many miscellaneous new parts, too many to list,hoses, electrical parts, etc. Upgrades: new heater motor designed for chevyblazer- blows lots more heat! Weber 32/36 carburetor, recently.

This is a vintage jeep in approximately 90% stock condition with theremaining 10% comprising upgrades related to safety, reliability, comfort anddrivability. It has the original engine, three-speed transmission and two-speedtransfer case. Vehicle history: this vehicle has been adult-owned and has spentall of its life in southern california. I purchased it in 2001 from the originalowner. An extensive mechanical and body restoration was performed in 2004-2006. This included replacing 100% of all rubber components on engine and body. This is a great 1985 jeep cj7 that has been family owned for the last 15+ years. It just got an oil change, new tires (less than 100 miles on them), battery anddistributer replaced as well as spark plugs and wires replaced. It has a rebuilt360 5. 9l v8 jeep grand wagoneer engine (it has about 40k miles on it now) aswell as an edelbrock high performance carburetor. The odometer isn'tcalibrated for the larger tires that we put on it, so the mileage reading isvery inaccurate. The transmission was rebuilt in 2001 but it is currentlyleaking. Two mechanics have told me that the shift rod seal needs to bereplaced. It runs pretty well, with occasional misfires. The horn is notworking, neither is the radio (sorry). The other electrical all works (lights,turn signals, etc.) there is one small rust spot on the left side (detailedphoto shows it from the inside as well). Other than that, it does need a newpaint job. I haven't used the 4wd in 10 years, but it was working when idid (we never took it off roading, so it was only used in really heavy rain). I'm selling it because i am moving to new york city and will not be able totake it with me.

For sale is a frame off restored 1982 cj5. The jeep looks and runs great. This jeep was a 2 year project. It has a chevy 5. 0 (305),edelbrock carb, 4 speed manual trans, 1. 25" body lift, custom exhaust, acme hardtop and doors. The body and tub was removed, frame painted with rustprotection. Body was either replaced or patched as needed. Theinterior is clean. Some of the gauges still need attention. I just use gps andtrack the mileage. Driver's side seat has some rips as pictured. All in itsa very nice jeep that sounds great and gets looks everywhere. This is my thirdone and by far my favorite. Maybe because of the 5. 0. Only reason for sale isthat a found a series 3 land rover and have been dreaming about one of those fora while.

Very nice jeep cj5 with big 8 and headers. It has a hurst 3 speed tranny, a new top and new shocks and steering. It rides tight for its kind and sounds awesome. There are many new parts including gas tank and radiator. This is well maintained and great running jeep. Tarts right up with a roar. The paint it good and there is no rust. Great little jeep... We drove it last week to be sure it would a struggle to get it past 50-55. I'm guessing these were meantmore for a large ranch or mainly a second car. It runs very nice... It was alwayscared for.. My knowledge pretty much stops at the vin!... Im a sports carguy.. Never got into the jeep scene... We have never sold anything crappy... Because we never boughtcrappy. Hope it gets a good home. Here are extra pix that we they help... Little sis took them...(not happy!...
